Get to know me.
Since I was a child, I wanted people to get along and to feel better. When I began to recover from a broken marriage and my own addiction, my therapist listened, joined with me, and provided ideas. My therapist suggested that I become a therapist. I laughed. I became a teacher, a comedian, an actor. The years went by. My children were grown, and I found myself single again. On the day of September 11, 2001, I reevaluated my life. I asked myself if I was really living a purposeful life.
The suggestions from my past became more than jokes and teaching tools. The next day, I enrolled in graduate school as a returning student, which is the polite way of saying, "You may be too old for school." Two years later, I found this life-fulfilling purpose of listening, being with, providing counsel, and presence.
For over twenty years, I have sat with people like you who are curious about feeling better, making healthier choices, and being heard. I listen and wait for the answers that are deep in your heart, and together, we can conquer the fear that keeps you from what you already know.
